The purpose of this tool is to help dairy goat producers calculate their cost of production per litre and per doe, and to compare individual results to an industry benchmark; the aggregated performance results of other producers within the Ontario dairy goat industry.
The industry benchmark is based on an average of production information from the 2019 to 2021 calendar years. The benchmarks represent production information from a sample of participating farms in the province and may not necessarily be statistically significant as representing the dairy goat industry as a whole.

Outil de calcul et d’analyse comparative des coûts de production des chèvres laitières
Cet outil vise à aider les producteurs de chèvres laitières à calculer leurs coûts de production par litre et par chèvre, et à comparer les résultats individuels à une référence de l’industrie, soit les résultats de rendement agrégés des autres producteurs de l’industrie caprine laitière de l’Ontario.
La référence de l’industrie est fondée sur une moyenne des informations sur la production des années civiles 2019 à 2021. Ces informations sont tirées d’un échantillon de fermes participantes dans la province et n’ont pas nécessairement une signification statistique représentative de l’ensemble de l’industrie des chèvres laitières.
